” SACRED GEOMETRY – LABYRINTHS AND MANDALAS ” by local artists Carlos Smith and Cara Lee
Sacred Geometry helps us to navigate our spiritual evolution. Labyrinths and Mandalas are ancient tools and “road maps” for our collective journey towards our potential.
This show brings together two fascinating artists with a passion for this journey:
CARLOS SMITH is a certified Labyrinth facilitator through Veriditas, the non-profit World Wide Labyrinth Project of San Francisco. For Carlos, using the labyrinth is a way to help create a wholeness and insight into the Self and to gain insight into the mystery of symbols and metaphors that permeate our lives. He uses his intuition and his observations of the energy flow to create a unique interpretation of color and design. Carlos feels that his calling is to create art that assists others to discover the truth of who they are, so they can gift the world with their talents and knowledge.
CARA LEE’S art stems from a great attunement to color and the strong desire to communicate the clear-cut beauty she sees in nature and the inner worlds. In paintings and now through digital media she enjoys fusing the two worlds through high detail, strong movements and spatial surprises. As she continues, she is concerned with the images that cross time distance and culture. “Bringing more of the shamanic, emotional and organic into being, it is my intent to take the viewer into a deep and transformative place.”

Join us for Longevities free hors d’oeuvres, tea and life music at Deborah’s opening.
What is the source and mystery of our existence? Each of Deborah’s paintings is like a prayer and an incantation, which brought together, forms the circle of support; a mandala, the wheel of life. Not only does each painting represent a particular energy to be bestowed upon the viewer, such as “Beauty”, “Humor”, “Compassion”, but also an invitation for the viewer to participate and bring forth that vibration from one’s life. Oil paint and beeswax on canvas.
